Tromso in November

Hi, I’m planning a trip to Tromsø for November.

How many nights is it worth staying there? Is 4 nights enough?

Is it better to get around by rental car, or are public transport options sufficient, or would it be better to do excursions through GetYourGuide?

Places to visit nearby?

Recommended activities? Is it a good time for the Northern Lights?

Any tips/itineraries are very welcome :)
