Hungary Family Visitor Invitation Letter
I am Indian passport holder with valid residence permit issued by Hungary. I am inviting my 70 year old mother to visit Hungary for short visit (15 days). I am currently present in India. I am applying for Schengen C short stay visa through VFS India.
I am confused with the information in the VFS pages. One says that Invitation letter (*) for visiting family and friends in Hungary must be issued from Hungary Immigration office OIF and other says notarised by public notary from budapest.
- Must be issued by the Hungarian Office of Immigration and Nationality;
- Letter of invitation issued and certified by public notary.

Which one of the above invitation letter must be presented. ?
Would a simple invitation letter signed by me from India accepted by the hungarian embassy. I can attach passport, residence permit, rental apartment lease (in Budapest) and address card issued by OIF.
Has anybody went through this process?
