How to create a Mount and Blade Meme Page
Mount and Blade Warband is incredibly niche but a very broad topic. Due to the game being a simulator, there's lots of unique moments that can happen and be talked about. Almost no other game has this type of unique broadness which is an advantage.
Memes can get 200 likes in an hour, community jokes such as "a mount and blade meme, in this economy?" are commented on almost every post (which increases engagement and gets you higher reach), and overall the community are dying for more.
So how can you do this for yourself?
Memes, by their nature, are surprisingly simple. You just take a piece of media and add a new context to it. For example, a picture of someone looking sad and then adding the caption "King Harlus when no one attends his feast". It's that simple.
But you can take the caption a step further by using logical extremes, which is when you take an element such as sadness and exaggerate that into crying yourself to sleep. This works in comedy because an audience doesn't see it coming but then "gets" what you did after the joke.
So now lets apply this all to Mount and Blade. There are hundreds of situations you can tackle and your one job is to come at them from different angles. This is done through different templates (the original media) which keeps it fresh it each time. For example, if we take the situation of losing a battle, we could be fuming that our Nord Huscarls are now gone, or upset because our favourite companion is a prisoner and we have no chance of getting them back, or plotting espionage because another lord mocked our loss, or weirded out because the enemy stole our shoes.
There are so many different angles we can approach this from, and now just use this thinking for any other situation from the game.
