Fragrance Community Making Me Feel Dumb

One of my hyper fixations are fragrances as I’ve owned about 35 bottles and have tested around 150 total fragrances. Being that I struggle with emotions and expression I don’t really relate the fragrances I wear to any kind of feeling, vibe, or mood. I instead relate them to tangible things like the clothing I wear or the event I’m going to.

I bought a new summer fragrance recently and with it being winter and all I’ve struggled a bit relating the fragrance to anything. I’m also redoing my wardrobe so I don’t really have any summer clothes outside of gym wear. I decided to post asking others how they wear the fragrance or fragrances like it as well as asking if there are any particularly good articles of clothing that match it. I thought I would get replies about experiences with the fragrance and some wardrobe advice but I was instead met with comments like “you’re just overthinking it” “just wear it bro” and someone even said the entire post was stupid.

I guess I just wanna see if I’m unreasonable for posting that or if anyone else has had an experience like this with other people with autism in their communities or hobbies.
