Alright commanders, here’s my honest fan take 🫡💙

Hello everyone! Today I really want to share something that’s been on my mind for a while, especially after discussing it with my sister Kuro. It’s about NIKKE costumes and the direction the game is going lately. As a loyal commander and a huge fan, this comes from love, not hate 🙏✨

To be honest with you, NIKKE is one of my all-time favorite waifu games. The characters, the story, the music, the emotions — everything made me fall in love with it from day one. I always get excited to see what the devs will cook next 🔥 But recently… I feel a bit disappointed 😔

What I’m noticing now is that the number of new Nikkes keeps increasing, but the costumes are not keeping up. Many characters barely get any outfits, and some of the costumes we do get honestly don’t feel like they match the character’s full potential. As commanders, we KNOW these girls deserve better 😭💔

Instead of pushing more and more new Nikkes, I really wish the devs would focus more on:

	•	👗 More costume varieties for existing Nikkes

	•	🎨 Better design quality that truly fits each character’s personality

	•	💃 More 2D Live (2DL) features — this is a BIG one

	•	🛍️ Putting more costumes directly in the store so players can actually enjoy them

It sometimes feels like the game is leaning too much toward money-making instead of fan satisfaction. And honestly? If they treated us better with more high-quality costumes and animations, I’m sure commanders would be MORE than happy to support the game 💳❤️

One thing I really want to praise though: collaboration outfits 👏👏

Those are AMAZING. The designs, the creativity, the effort — you can really feel the passion there. This just proves that the team can do it, so why not apply that same energy to regular NIKKE costumes too? 🥺✨

When I look at Azur Lane, another waifu game, I can’t help but compare. Their costume designs are on another level 🔥 Their 2DL features are smooth, expressive, and full of life. You can really tell they respect their fanbase and invest in making the characters feel special. Their fans are eating GOOD 😭🍽️

NIKKE has the potential to be even greater than it already is — it just needs more love put into costumes rather than endlessly adding new characters without proper outfit support.

Anyway, that’s my rant as a passionate commander 😅💙

What do you all think, fellow commanders?

Do you feel the same, or am I alone on this battlefield?
