18 trying to build direction in life (need help)

Discussion

Hey, I’m 18, based in Poland and I’m trying to be more intentional about what I do with my life, especially when it comes to money, skills, and direction. I don’t want to just drift, but I also don’t want to chase shortcuts.

Over the past few years, I’ve experimented with different paths: at 15 I ran a small candle business for about a year, at 16 I spent a year learning trading (learned a lot, but didn’t build anything lasting) and for the last few months I’ve been focused on video editing and content creation. None of these were “big successes” but each taught me something about how I work, what I enjoy, and what I don’t.

Right now, I’m not chasing fast money. I’m more interested in finding real-world experience, learning from people who are actually doing things, and slowly building skills that can turn into income and opportunities over time. I’m open to helping out, collaborating, or even just having conversations that could lead to something meaningful, whether that’s a project, a skill, or a new perspective.

I guess I’m reaching out because I know I can’t figure everything out alone. If you’re working on something, learning a new skill, or just trying to improve your situation in a practical way, I’d love to hear about it. What have you been working on lately, and what has it taught you so far?
