Dear Future Husband(Day 16)
Dear Future Husband,
Hey, how have you been? Work has been light lately, and I’ve been able to study in between shifts. I’m a bit anxious about my admission test, but I’m working hard so I can support you on days when we’re 80:20.
Remember one of my earlier letters, when I told you that I would accept you for who you are and that I wouldn’t make you change anything about yourself unless you genuinely wanted that change? That still stands, and I just wanted to reiterate it. Please know, my love, that you don’t have to perform. When I choose you, it means I have accepted you for who you are.
Whether it’s your calling, your hobbies, your quirks, or even the way you chew loudly (I hate people who chew loudly, by the way), please just be yourself and feel free to communicate. I don’t want you to feel like you’re always walking on eggshells. Just be yourself, and I swear I’ll still love you. Even on days when you’re angry, sad, or happy, I will always choose to love you in all your seasons—even on days when I may be a bit annoyed. And I hope and pray that you would do the same for me.
I’ll cut this letter short again today. I want to study a bit more before I sleep. So, my dear husband— wherever you are, whoever you’re with, and whatever you’re doing… I hope you’re safe and happy. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. So please, exist.
Love,
Your Future Wife
