I’m crashing out…

So I beat the main story, then did the thing to go back to the beginning(ish) and beat Chronos again for the new ending but…

It was the exact same ending. I spent like a week re-doing the plot so I feel like I’m a part of some cosmic prank right now.

Can someone explain the differences between them?
