Did we ever actually find out specifically what Becky did wrong before coming back to life?

It’s been constantly hinted that there’s more to the story than her just ‘faking her own death to avoid the mob’, and we know that there was no real threat from this gang since she was making stuff up so that she could move in with Lisa. But now it seems like it’s all been forgotten now that she’s banged up? Nobody seems concerned about that Costello chap in hospital anymore, even though it was still implied that he too was involved in some sort of criminal activity with Becky. Why has it just been brushed under the carpet?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad the character has fucked off and this ridiculous story is now winding down, but it still just feels like there was no real conclusion. Maybe the writers just used the crash as an excuse to abandon it as they realised they were making it up on the fly and hadn’t planned a proper conclusion to it?
