Suggestions for BR 8.0 - 9.0 tanks with some armour?

I'm currently grinding through the German tech tree, and I'm wondering if there are any vehicles with somewhat decent armour in the 8.0 to 9.0 range?

I'm split between the UK and Soviet trees, but keen to hear anything else I've missed.
