What set?

So my buddy and I are running through this awesome game together I’m running the up front just slice through everything with sword/mace and a shield and he’s running sit in the back and cast spells mage. We just unlocked a smelter and the blacksmith now has the option to craft copper tank armor or adventured armor . Both seem to give the same stats tank gives 15 prots in pierce/blunt/slash and adventures seems to give a lot of health . What should I use for being the sit in front and get beat on method I’m doing? Is the +15 protections worth the 120 health I’ll be missing from adventures?
