Please help!!! I'm so confused

I am a 22-year-old female, BBA graduate (2024), aspiring to an MBA from a reputed institution. I appeared for CAT 2024 but did not score well, so I took a drop year and reappeared for CAT 2025. My mock scores were consistently good, but my performance on the actual exam day did not reflect my preparation, and I am unable to clearly identify what went wrong. Currently, I do not have any work experience and am not working in any organization, which is adding to my confusion regarding the next step.

Core Dilemma Should I attempt CAT again or move on from it? Should I take admission this year or wait further? Should I look for relevant work experience before pursuing an MBA? Or should I settle for an average/random college available now?

Guidance Needed On Is another CAT attempt a wise decision at this stage?p Is it better to wait for a good college or accept an average one now? Given my lack of work experience, how should I present and justify my gap years and choices during MBA interviews?
