Any opinion about Shekhar Kaushal’s Sukoon song that got released around the time of his Divorce with Mandy?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’ve been thinking about this after listening to Sukoon by Shekhar Kaushal.

I heard the song first without knowing much about him. It felt calm but and soothing. Later I found out he’s going through a divorce (with Mandy), and I ended up listening to it again with that in mind.

I am an artist myself and I know how artists pour their feelings into work of art they create. I’m confused about whether that context actually matters or if I’m the only just projecting things onto the song. Should an artist keep his personal life separate from their music or project his feelings onto what he is going through at the moment?

The song is indeed soft, melodious, romantic and beautiful, but once u know the context around it, its a bit sad IMHO. What do you guys think? For those not getting the context, here is the sonf I am talking about :
