Zen Go Synergy Core – Headphone mute also mutes desktop audio?

Just to clarify something I discovered while testing the Zen Go.

When I mute the headphone output, it turns out that everything is muted, including:

• mic / instrument monitoring
• DAW playback
• desktop audio

So the HP mute is basically a master output mute, not an input monitoring mute.

Coming from an SSL2, I was used to a dedicated monitor knob that only controls direct input monitoring, not the whole output bus. That difference wasn’t obvious to me at first.

Am I correct that the only way to mute mic monitoring while keeping playback audio is via the Antelope Control Panel routing/mixer?

Would love to hear how other Zen Go users manage this in daily recording workflows.
