should I take it as a compliment or not

Context:

I was outside earlier, processing some papers. I went to the counter to get my documents, and when the staff handed them to me, one of them said:

Kuya 1: “Ma’am, may kamukha kayo—si Herlyn Budol. Pareho kayong maganda.”

Kuya 2: laughs

I was really stunned. After getting my papers, I didn’t even say thank you because I got annoyed talaga like hindi ko expected na ganun sasabihin ni Kuya Im somehow offended but laugh at the same time jusko, di ko alam kung nangiinis lang ba or what eh. As in wala ako nakikita resemblance to her so ang laki question mark sakin nung comment ni Kuya, No offense to miss herlyn but kasi my first thought was, “Ah, so parang hipon ako?” Mygosh kuya kuha mo inis ko today!
