Flight prices are weird… why do they jump overnight?

Maybe I’m late to the party, but I keep seeing this: I check a route at night, looks decent… then the next morning it’s suddenly way more expensive.

Is that just normal airline pricing chaos or is there a pattern people here actually use?

What I’ve tried that kinda helps:

•	checking a couple nearby dates instead of one exact day

•	setting alerts for drops (otherwise I just get spammed)

•	not refreshing the same search 50 times like a maniac 😅

Do you guys have a real rule for this? Like “buy on X day / track with Y / don’t search on weekends” etc.
