Completely iced in at new home
We moved into our house with a steep gravel drive on Thursday and got an inch freezing sleet over an inch of snow on Saturday. We have a lot of rock salt and it was earlier predicted to be warm enough to melt. But the high ended up being 25 degrees instead and we saw that rock salt will damage our driveway. We have one large box of kitty litter and a about two gallons of sand but a longish driveway. We have no molasses, ice melt, ash or pick ax or heavy equipment. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Our neighbors and folks up the road seem to be iced in too except for 4-wheelers.
