Cursor defaulting to end of email instead of To field

when I attach a link from an app I’m in into outlook on my Samsung phone the cursor always used to go to the To box and I just typed in the email. in the last week it’s started going to the end of the text in the email and I keep starting to type the address and of course it doesn’t bring up a suggestion and I realise my mistake.

is there a way I can change this? I don’t know why it has changed recently but it really bugs me.
