Have you noticed differences in diaspora from North America and those from Western Europe?

I don’t want to generalize too much, but I’m curious to hear your perspectives on this topic: I have some extended family in Frankfurt, Germany 🇩🇪 and when I meet people there I’ve noticed that compared to my interactions with North American diaspora, it feels like the German diaspora are often still sadly viewed as outsiders by German society, even after 2nd, 3rd, maybe even 4th generation now. Have you noticed any differences between North American 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 diaspora, and those in Western Europe 🇪🇺 ?
