Gloves and shoe covers a good idea for part of urbex gear?
Understandably based on what I read and learn from videos it appears masks and flashlights are a must in a backpack and several other things in addition to camera equipment of course. But what I see often overlooked are elastic as well as protective gloves which keeps fingerprints from smearing on things one may touch and protective gloves for climbing surfaces that might cut hands? Shoe or boot covers like ones contractors or workers put over their boots to avoid having wet, muddy shoe or boot prints left behind in a relatively clean, antique, “untouched” abandoned spaces for same logic as the fingerprints and they also help avoid getting the shoes themselves gross in very messed up places as well on the flip side as one can just change out the covers.
Always thinking whether many urbex content creators overlook these but they are light and don’t take up space in a backpack but works wonders.
