Lower Leagues, Bigger Edges: Luton/League One analytics vs market lines - worth the effort?

NSFW

Alright, question for the people who actually grind and not just vibe-bet the telly games.

Is lower-league football genuinely where the softer lines are, or is that just a myth that makes people feel smart while they burn hours building spreadsheets?

I’m talking League One / League Two stuff, and yeah, Luton gets dragged into these convos because people remember the rise and assume you can spot the next one early if you’re watching the right data. But I’m more interested in the general point: smaller leagues, fewer eyeballs, less efficient market… maybe.

If you’ve tried it, what’s your experience in the UK market,
do you actually beat the price often, or do you just end up limited faster because the books hate lower-league punters?
How much work are we talking, like one hour a week vs full nerd mode?
What data do you rely on that you think the market is slower to price in, injuries, suspensions, travel, tactical stuff, set pieces, whatever? And does the edge survive once you factor in worse liquidity, wider margins, and the fact that one random red card in League One is basically the whole game..

Is it worth the effort, or would I be better off just not betting.
