Paper Backdrop Color editing?

Editing/Post Processing

For those that do studio work, do you prefer the microfiber washable/dryable backdrops (like Kate Backdrops) or do you prefer the seamless paper backdrop rolls? I’ve recently set up a ceiling mount system to hold paper backdrop drops, but they’re expensive. I was thinking that if I buy one of each primary color that I could adjust it in post to match the desired color I’m looking for. For example, I have a custom Easter shoot next month and I’m creating a set with a plain mint green backdrop. If I were to order a blue or green backdrop drops that I could use for many purposes, I could just adjust the color down to where I needed it for this shoot.

Is this a typical practice?
