Should i join an internship that gives certificate for some amount and simple projects?

Hello, i am currently in 3rd year(6th semester) and seeing many classmates doing internships got desperate and just copied what they were doing. They were applying to internships that ask for money around 250Rs and gives you a list of projects from which we can choose and to complete it in 2 months and get certificate.

My question is, should i go forward with it or will it have bad influence on my resume in future.

Additionally, need to clear my current situation, i am 6th semester(3rd year)(branch AI & DS) in a tier 3 college with just basic DSA experience, basic pandas numpy and not any projects yet. I understand that im in a really bad spot and am giving efforts now and am working on a project.

What should i do given my current circumstance?
