Opinions on the valeton gp50,

I’m thinking of getting the gp50 to use for a small basic live event and practice with it at home. Mainly for live and home playing and recording since I usually use a software and I kinda dislike it. I wonder if I can use the gp50’s button A to switch between Clean and distortion and button B to turn on and off effects.
