One-Day Trip to Vadakara & Mahe – Suggestions Needed

I’ll be reaching Vadakara by morning and planning to explore Vadakara and Mahe for the day. I’ll need to head back to Kozhikode by 5:30 PM by train.

Could you guys please suggest a few good places to visit that can be covered within this time? Looking for scenic spots, beaches, or any must-see attractions.

Also, please suggest some good food spots or must-try restaurants in Vadakara/Mahe.

Since I’ll be returning by train in the evening, could you also suggest any good dormitories /rooms or budget places near Kozhikode railway station where I can rest for a few hours?
