Can I buy from an online kratom dispensary to be shipped to me in California?

Yes, it is a reputable American kratom dispensary.

The retailer believes kratom is still legal in most California cities and is still willing to ship their kratom products to anywhere in California except a couple banned cities. But I'm having a hard time finding information on whether kratom is still legal in california January 2026 and whether or not placing an order with them and getting a kratom product is legal. All I can find is that as of last October its illegal to sell and manufacture kratom in california and it has been pulled from many in person stores. That's as far as it says, and this is too vague for me to understand. I cannot find any source explictly stating that anything other than selling or manufacturing is "legal" or "illegal"

However, although this dispensary is based in the USA, they aren't based In California, and I myself wouldn't be selling or manufacturing it, just occasionally recreationally using it.

Would it be illegal for me to order it to california sold from another state or to posses/use it? Can I d
