Maintenance costs of used F80 M3 vs. new G80 M3?

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a new G80 M3 or buying a slightly used F80 (with about 35k miles).

What can I expect to pay in terms of maintenance costs for a used vs. new M3?

Am I able to do the work myself, or does BMW not allow that?
