I'm trying to run a simple daily script on my static site, but I don't know where to put it

I have a site hosted on Vercel, and I just need to run a script once every 24 hours to fetch some data and update the database. Since it's serverless, I obviously don't have a server running 24/7 to just use cron.

I tried setting up a GitHub Action to ping an API route every morning, but it feels a bit hacky. Is there a cleaner way to handle scheduled tasks in this stack without spinning up a separate backend?
