Unpopular opinion: I love pick two draft

Ok so right off the bat pick-two draft seemed like a terible idea: it seemed like it was a get around for the fact that the "spider-man" aka OM1 had to be designed as a smaller set. I don't have to say that nearly all of us drafters hated it. Also, the prize structure was terrible: entry cost was 7.500 in gold and 2 wins only got you a measly 250 gems.

Cut back to now: since they fixed the reward structure, entry fee is now 6.000 in gold and going 2-2 gets you back 800 gems. Seemed like a good deal.

So I gave it a try. Picking 2 cards per time made the drafting part much faster, and smaller game structure (4 wins or 2 losses) makes each go much shorter. So what happens is you rotate the decks a lot more, see much more cards, play different decks more often, I enjoyed it.

Then I went back to premier draft. Man, the long drafting portion was insufferable. Also, the game structure made you play a lot of games with the same deck, and I found that not as fun anymore. Went back to pick-2 and never looked back.

I get that it's not for everyone, and yes losing the first two games, especially because of mana problems/bad draws is very unfun, but I urge everyone to give it a try, especially if you like to try out a lot of different cards and decks, and also I really feel like that the prize structure is in fact better than premier draft for most players.
