Ultimate weapon tab

Is there a rhyme or reason to the order/placement of the ultimate weapons in the tab? I know it's not in order of unlocked (sidebar: is there a way to find this out?) and it's not alphabetical, I don't have them all yet and the random one always throws the order in a different place every run
