Can someone explain to me the lore of ad astra from PWOfalcon

PWOfalcon is an author of Gate War of Two Worlds and I have read both of his fanfiction. But recently I was looking for more gate fics and wonder what works does PWOfalcon had and I discovered his recent work which ad astra the alagore war.

can someone explain the lore of this story and is it good?
