Uncomfortable withdrawals after only 10 days of Effexor XL (7 at 37.5, 3 at 75mg). Should I start tapering or just ride it out?

Unfortunately my doctor is not available to contact right now so I figured I’d ask here.

I originally was prescribed Effexor XL as an alternative to sertraline, which had been working relatively well for me for over a year, except for some unwanted sexual side affects, hence my doctors recommendation to switch.

4 days ago I basically changed my mind and took my last Effexor pill of ten days because I decided that I felt I was ready to go off antidepressants all together. In the last 24 hours, I’ve started to experience some relatively uncomfortable brain zaps, nausea, depressive thoughts and fatigue.

My question is, given the short amount of time I have been on this drug, is it almost counterproductive to taper and continue putting it into my body? Or should I just taper slowly anyway?
