First period

Hi all,

I am doing some research and looking at potentially starting a position as to how schools engage with a child on their first period.

Can you share with me what you done with your child when she had her first period ? Did you let her have some time off to adjust and work out how to change pads etc? How did the school support you? Do they mark them absent authorised or unauthorised?
