Feeling Stuck After +2 While Preparing to Go Abroad
I am 18 years old and I’m currently preparing my documents to go abroad for the June/July intake. I have around 5–6 months, and I know there’s a chance my visa could get rejected, but still, I want to go abroad. The reason is that, honestly, I don’t see any opportunities in Nepal right now (at least I haven’t seen any yet).
Australia is my Plan A. If that doesn’t work out, then maybe New Zealand, the UK, or Europe. But one thing is clear—I really don’t want to stay in Nepal. I passed my +2 (Grade 12) this year.
I just want some advice or guidance. I feel completely stuck. I know I will go abroad eventually, but until then, I feel unemployed. It’s not like I’m doing nothing—I’m doing an internship at a bank—but still, before 10:30 AM and after 3 PM, I feel like I have nothing to do. I feel stuck, like there’s nothing meaningful to work on.
I want to build some skills. I thought about coding, but a brother told me that coding doesn’t really have a future, and even mentioned that the founder of Node.js said coding doesn’t have much future.
These days, I really feel stuck. If anyone thinks certain skills will help in the future career-wise, I’d really appreciate it if some seniors, brothers, sisters, or friends could suggest something. Even if it’s just for 6 months, I want to be productive.
Thank you.
