What Game or Player made you want to Trophy/Achievement Hunt? -

What game or player made you want to grind out trophies?

I've been gaming on Playstation since PS1. Never took trophies seriously when PS3 came out. Got a couple platinums on my old account but never cared. PS4 same thing. Then COD Black Ops 2 came out and a buddy of mine at the time had a hack to max out my character. It was cool at first but with everything unlocked(Skins & Guns) there wasn't anything left to work for. So ilI created another account just for COD.

Moving forward a year or so I changed shifts at my job and met a couple guys that gamed a lot on PS4. So we all started gaming together. One of them was a trophy hunter and had 20+ Platinums at the time. I didn't really understand the whole trophy situation at the time but talking with him I found a new appreciation for gaming. I started my grind for my first Platinum. AC 2. I was hooked from that point on. I was slow but I was getting them.

Several years later I had 40+ Platinums and my life drastically changed and I fell off the gaming world for a couple years. Then came the PS5 and XBOX Series X. I had a family member buy us a Xbox Series X and I gamed with it for about 4 years before I finally came back to PS5. Nothing against the Xbox or their players but it just didn't have the same feeling of accomplishment of 100% Achievements on Xbox. I missed my Platinums. So last year I bought a PS5 on black Friday and haven't looked back!
