How to fertilize with inert/inorganic subtrate?

I recently moved to a substrate of coir/perlite/bark, so there's no organic matter here, mainly to reduce fungus gnats.

It's a delightfully light mix that drains amazingly well, but I'm wondering how my fertilizing schedule should change?

Do you guys fertilize more often when your substrate has is inert? I guess this applies to semi-hydro set ups also.
