Cat not using litter properly

I adopted a new female cat (1.5 years) 2 months ago, one thing i noticed is that when she's peeing in the litter box, she'll aim it at the vertical wall of the box, so everytime i have to change the litter, i'll have to clean that side of the box everytime,

Is there anything i can do or is it normal for a cat to do that?
