Daily Randomized Song Discussion #58: Candle of Life

I am picking a random song (using a random number generator) from the Moody Blues albums from The Magnificent Moodies through December (plus a few non-album tracks thrown in).

Today’s song is the 1969 John Lodge track Candle of Life, from To Our Children's Children's Children.

What are your thoughts on this song?
