Is Ryzen 9 really this monster?

recently I upgraded my PC with Ryzen 9 5900xt. (memory spikes wouldn't let me move to am5 for now). and in idle it sits comfortably at 40°C. But if I just open brave it jumps to 70 then back down at 60°C and it stays like that. In cinebench multicore 60°C. single core 70°C again.

is it supposed to be this hyper reactive and produce a lot of heat? I'm using and AIO and arctic mx-06 thermal paste. I even re applied it.
