Hiring: WebRTC / VoIP Developer (Remote) – Click‑to‑Talk Tool

We’re looking for an experienced WebRTC/VoIP engineer to help us build a browser‑based click‑to‑talk communication tool. This is a remote contract role with the potential for ongoing work.

What You’ll Build

A lightweight, reliable system that enables:

• One‑click voice calling from a web interface
• Real‑time audio streaming with low latency
• Secure signaling and session management
• Integration with our existing backend (REST/WebSocket)

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with WebRTC APIs (getUserMedia, RTCPeerConnection, STUN/TURN, ICE)
• Familiarity with VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP)
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or similar backend stacks
• Knowledge of TURN/STUN server setup (e.g., Coturn)
• Ability to optimize audio quality, handle reconnections, and manage network edge cases

Nice to Have

• Experience with call recording
• Familiarity with cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• UI experience for embedding call widgets
