Getting my 10week old baby is increasingly difficult

Sleep

Like the title says. Me and my wife are first time parents of a beautiful 10 week old baby girl. Things have been progressing very good as time moves and she gets older. We finally got her off the bottle and now drinks 100% of the time from the breast. Shes now starting to make sounds with her mouth and even interacts with us and her surroundings. However, things may look handy dandy but we are struggling in the sleeping department.

Yes, she now sleeps better not that shes on the boob but getting her to sleep is now a quantum physics project. We are now batthing her between 7 to 8p when she finishes eating (she hates her bath on empty stomach). We rock her, we sway her but it takes forever some days. Last night taking close to 60 to 90 minutes. Then the next big issue is that, when we finally get her to bed, she immediately wakes up because she hates her bassinet. We’ve been co-sleeping for the past 2 weeks but I know this is not sustainable on the long run. We do swaddle her, but also getting her to swaddle is difficult becuase she wakes up the second I put the velcros in the Halo Sleepsack.

We are just struggling in this department at night. I’m close to 5 weeks to returning to work and my wife is returning to work in 2 weeks. I’m honestly just scared to death how I’m going to manage work and night sleep if our daughter is struggling to fall asleep. I honestly just dont like how our culture (we’re Puerto Ricans) just tells us to suck it up since this is what parenting is all about. I’m just seeking help here or at least some comfort that this is only a phase, and that she’ll fall asleep faster as she gets older.
