Prius 3 2016 US-import

Hello dear Prius drivers, I’m interested in purchasing this Prius 3 in Germany, but I’m a bit concerned because it’s a US import.

Which documents should I check? Is there a way to verify whether the car has a proper maintenance history in the US?

I don’t know when the car was imported, but I will ask for all relevant documentation when I inspect it.

Would you consider buying such a car? The private owner seems trustworthy at first glance.

Prius 3 models are very rare in Germany, so I don’t have many options for comparison. Comparable Prius 3 models from 2012 usually sell for around €10,900 (≈ $13,000).
