Health trend in 2026: morning sunlight + 10k steps legit habit or just wellness hype?

This combo is everywhere and it sounds legit: morning sunlight to anchor your body clock, and a daily step goal to boost low-intensity movement without overthinking fitness. But it also gets sold like a magic hack, and 10k feels like an arbitrary number.

If you've done it consistently, did you notice a real change in sleep, mood, energy, appetite, or body comp, or was it just a nice routine?
