[PC][2010s?] 3D game where you assign workers to do tasks to upgrade yourself
Platform: PC (Maybe console too, but I doubt it)
Genre: Scifi or fantasy. Base building. Exploration.
Estimated Year of Release: I wanna say early-mid 2010s when I was in college.
Graphics/Art Style: Definitely 3D with a controllable character. I've been playing Arknights Endfield and this game had a similar graphics style. Maybe also close to the graphics style of Fable.
Notable gameplay mechanics: This is the big one. You would start off the game with like 5 workers and gradually explore or do quests to unlock more workers until you had like 50 or 75 and allocated them to gather different resources for you. Eventually you'd have more workers than you knew what to do with.
It was similar to Anachronia in Runescape, except in RS you are upgrading a building to get more workers rather than doing tasks. I can't remember if you specifically had to take care of the workers' needs (food, housing, etc.) or manage other resources (money, power, etc). I just remember assigning workers.
Other details: I can't think of any right now, but I'll try to update if I think of any others.
