r/SlipjointKnives Group Knife - Manufacturer Preference

Hey everyone

It looks like we'll have enough interest for a group knife with over 130 people. Sweet!

As part of moving the r/SlipjointKnives group knife project forward, the next step is narrowing down which manufacturers we should approach.

Rather than scattering suggestions across multiple posts, this one will serve as a central spot to gather and vote on manufacturer preferences.

How this post will work:

• Post ONE manufacturer per parent-level comment
  • I've started the post with a few options to get the ball rolling.
• Before posting, scroll and upvote if your preferred manufacturer is already listed
• Use upvotes to show support, discussion is welcome in replies
  • If you have experiences or examples (past collaborations, quality, price range, etc.), feel free to add those as replies under the relevant manufacturer.
• Try to keep suggestions to actual manufacturers, not custom one-offs or hypotheticals

After this thread has had some time to breathe (lets give it a week or so) I’ll take the top three highest-voted manufacturers and reach out to them directly to discuss feasibility, constraints, pricing, and other details.
