Hair and make up?

Is there anywhere to go around here to get hair and make up done? I've got an upscale event to go to Friday and while I can dress up just fine I struggle with my curly textured hair and im not great at make up. I always feel like I miss the mark when I have to do things like this, trying to do better so I'm not so self conscious while at these events. Any reccs?
