What's more difficult to learn, checkmate with Bishop and Knight or Solving a Rubiks Cube?

Chess Question

I don't know how to do either. My guess would be that solving a rubik's cube is easier since it seems to mostly be to memorize letters (moves) in a certain order while chess seems to have more of a tree branch, you need to learn more possible scenarios. Maybe it depends on how good you are, a chess beginner might think the RC is easier while a 2000+ elo might think the checkmatevis easier. If curious to know if anyone knows both or have tried to learn both.
