Engine stalling at sub-zero temps

my car (2017 Chevy Equinox Premier, v6 not the 4 cylinder) has been experiencing some issues since this cold front moved in. temps are much lower than usual, but this is also my first winter with this vehicle. the main issue i have noticed is the engine occasionally stalls when I am stopped in traffic- I am able to put the car in park, shut it off and turn it back on no issue. only other thing I've noticed is it seems a little slow to shift from time to time (also didn't start until the cold weather). I had no issues before this. what do?
