PS5 with 1080p or RTX 2070 Super with 1440p? Kinda in a dilemma..
Hello, to make things short:
I have the chance to exchange my PC with a ps5 slim, but then I wouldn't be able to afford a 2k or higher monitor so I'll be stuck with my 1080p 24inch and 165hz one.
But I am also considering selling my 1080p monitor and add to the money and get a 1440p 27 inch monitor to use with my gaming pc.
My gaming PC isn't that bad: RTX 2070 super, 16gb ram and maybe a lesser cpu (i5 9600kf) and it runs most games over 100 fps even at ultra settings.
But idk if it will manage 2k games with acceptable frames. I am not looking for over 100 fps at ultra settings, but at atleast around 90-100 fps at a mix of medium and high ones.
The PS5 can handle 2k out of the box, but I'm afraid the 1080p monitor will be a bottleneck.
I love both PS5 ecosystem and the PC versatility and have no problem with game prices or paid online gaming. But which of these routes should I go?
