Carene w Leaky Nib

I am offered a used Carene. The owner says the inlaid nib leaks a little on one side

I haven’t seen the pen yet.

Is a leaky nib repairable? Is it a fix I could do or would it need to go to a nibmeister?

Any suggestion for a nibmeister to make a repair to an inlaid nib?

Any guess what such a Carene might be worth if I were to purchase it?
